Integrated Excavation–Anchoring–Support Construction

An integrated excavation–anchoring–support workflow is implemented to address the challenges of low cyclic advance efficiency, fragmented operations, and safety risks commonly encountered in underground construction under confined space and high-stress conditions.

By coordinating excavation, roof and sidewall anchoring, and support installation within a single continuous operational cycle, the system minimizes idle time between processes and ensures tight coupling between excavation progress and support deployment.

The integrated approach enables precise control over anchoring position, installation sequence, and support parameters, significantly improving the consistency and quality of support installation compared with conventional multi-step workflows.

Real-time coordination between excavation and support operations reduces repeated handling and re-entry, lowers exposure of personnel to unsupported ground, and enhances overall construction safety.

At the same time, the streamlined workflow improves cyclic advance efficiency and operational stability, making it particularly suitable for complex underground environments with strict safety and productivity requirements.

The solution has been successfully applied in underground mining and tunneling scenarios, demonstrating its effectiveness in improving construction efficiency, support reliability, and on-site safety performance.
